NUEVAS VARIEDADES DE BLANCO PARA VARIAR UN POCO

En esta ocasión he podido catar por fin este blanco “León Beyer 2016”, que en su día compré para degustar en las Fiestas de Navidad. Pero la verdad es que en esas fechas una ya anda un poco saturada de buenos vinos y manjares, entonces se quedó allí esperando en la bodega de casa, hasta esta semana, que fue cuando lo abrí. 

A continución mis impresiones sobre el mismo, catado a una temperatura más bien fresca aunque no fría ;)

Visualmente tiene un bonito color dorado y una buena limpidez. En nariz la variedad Pinot Gris nos regala aromas a frutas tropicales y blancas maduras, y en su paso por boca apreciamos también notas de frutas blancas confitadas o incluso a mermelada.

Al tener cierta estructura por su maduración en botella resulta un vino bastante goloso, pero a la vez muy fresco gracias a su perfecta acidez.

En definitiva es un vino que me ha sorprendido muy gratamente y que es ideal para maridar con entrantes fríos o ligeros, y también con mariscos y pescados suaves.

NEW WHITE VARIETIES TO BREAK WITH ROUTINE TASTINGS

This time I finally tasted this white wine “León Beyer 2016”, that I bought  to taste in Xmas holidays but It was not opened until now and was left at my home winery, as those days I was really too busy in having other wines in all the special meals with my family.

The following lines describe it according to my impressions, being tasted in a fresh temperature but not too cold ;) :

At first sight it has a nice golden color and a good brightness. When I smell it its variety Pinot Gris gives to me aromas of tropical and white madurated fruits, and its way in my mouth it tastes to white fruits confiture and to tropical fruits again, as pineapple.

As It has some structure thanks to the small maduration in the bottle, it’s traduced in a yummy wine, that in addition is so fresh, thanks to its perfect acidity.

To resume it is a wine which has surprised to me gor good, and that is perfect to match with cold starters, seafood or with light fishes.
